I've now seen all three films that make up the Hobbit trilogy. After some reflection, I'd have to say that the last one was my least favourite. Took my mum this time, she enjoyed it very much despite it being way out of her normal viewing choices. The 3D added a bit to the experience, loved it when the butterfly and birds flew out from the screen but it felt blurry when scanning along vast vistas. I've seen the Hobbit, precious, oh yes I have. It was magnificent and Martin Freeman... words fail,  his performance was outstanding. I didn't hop acros the Cook Strait yesterday, although I'd love to have done so to see all the stars, Martin Freeman in particular, and revel in the party atmosphere.
